I am openly a sucker for all things plaid. I have countless plaid button downs, a flared plaid dress, a plaid vest, and even a vintage kilt. So, it goes without saying that if a fabulous plaid blazer-meets-cape exists, I'm going to hunt it down and make it mine. Especially if it's in black and white and therefore seamlessly goes with the rest of my wardrobe, from items new (these flares which, for the record, feel like PJs) to old (this bodysuit, which I wore here over 2 years ago).

One of my major exes was Scottish (he lives in London and we did long distance while I was in Germany) and I used to love interrogating him about plaid. First, he found it amusing that I called it "plaid". Second, he had a real deal kilt in his "family tartan", reserved for special occasions (like his wedding one day!), which I always thought was just so damn cool.

Anyone else as obsessed with plaid as I am, or is this a condition for which I should begin seeking treatment?
