Quarantine Diaries: My Fave Loungewear Sets That Are Actually In Stock Right Now - Under $150

This post is not sponsored.

I have some key requirements with loungewear. It’s about fun, on-trend prints, while prioritizing comfort and practicality. I don’t think loungewear should have to be babied or dry-cleaned, nor should they distract us with unwelcome tightness, scratchy seams, or muffin top. Aesthetically, I do have a bit of a thing for two-piece sets—even if I haven’t washed my hair in a week, I feel 100% cuter and like I maybe have my shit together when my top and bottom match.

I’m going to be honest: When I first had the idea to do this post, I thought it was going to be WAY easier than it turned out to be. With loungewear being the main type of clothing people are buying during quarantine, stock is at an all-time low for this sort of thing. I went down dozens of rabbit holes, spotting a piece I loved and lured in by a green-colored “In Stock” status, only to discover it was completely gone. In fact, I even had a few already on here but they ended up selling out while I assembled this post. Moving targets!

Further, I made things harder on myself by putting a hard price limit on what I’d include: no more than $150 for a set. Obviously, the better the deal, the quicker things sell. But I personally feel pajama/loungewear/sweats are getting insanely priced lately (a tie-dye sweatshirt alone can easily cost over $200), and with finances and the economy being on the forefront of everyone’s mind right now, it would be silly to include $300+ pajamas on this list.

So, without further ado, here is a round-up of my top picks for cute, wallet-friendly loungewear sets which are actually in stock at the moment. Well, at least at the time of publishing this blog post…

LET’S LOUNGE

1/ Out From Under Jenny Tie-Dye Fleece Set
(hoodie $59; joggers $49)

Tie-dye has been having a moment lately but what I think makes this set extra adorable is the watercolor effect. I first wore watercolor tie-dye back in September and get tons of compliments whenever I do. I happen to think watercolor is a great way to get on the tie-dye bandwagon but without feeling too kitschy or 80s—it feels more modern and elevated.

This set certainly works great for at-home but I like that, when life goes back to normal (or whatever our new normal might look like), you could absolutely wear this for casual errands around town.

2/ PJ Salvage Skull Print Peachy Dreams Set
(sweatshirt $62; tank $46; joggers $62)

I will forever associate sartorial skulls with Alexander McQueen and, no matter how old I get, I’m always drawn to fun skull prints.

I dig the tongue-in-cheek, cartoon-ish vibes of this set—it feels youthful but without being juvenile. While this was my favorite from the brand, PJ Salvage has a lot of adorable options out there; if you’re into hearts, there’s a great option on sale right now (top HERE, joggers HERE).

3/ Lively All-Day Lounge Shirt & Pants in Mini Stripe
(shirt $45; pants $45; $80 for the set)

I posted a dressing room selfie the day I bought this set and they’ve turned out to be a fantastic buy. I love how they have that classic striped pajama look, but instead of high-maintenance silk, it’s a stretchy, ultra-soft rayon.

I happen to think Lively is underrated when it comes to their loungewear. I also own a pair of their basic lounge pants, plus a few of their bras. The bras are OK (nothing super special, if I’m honest), but the loungewear material is to die for. Squishy soft but resilient, and doesn’t pill or look like garbage after a few washes. I love how they mix/match any set for $80, which is a steal for the quality.

4/ Colsie Dip Dye Fleece Lounge Set
(hoodie $20; joggers $20)

What I love about this set is is looks way more expensive than it is. Seriously, this look would be right at home on Revolve, but in realm of $100+ per piece.

Plus, the dip dye is another accessible way to dip your toe into the tie dye trend. :)

5/ Vici Morning Mantra Tie Dye Set
(top $62; joggers $58)

This set caught my eye as it’s a crazy good dupe for the popular Myrrhe set (top HERE, joggers HERE), which is quite literally 3 times the price.

I realize I’m technically cheating including this set because it's on preorder. But hey, preorder still means you can actually own it, and in my experience with Vici, preordering is very reliable and they do ship when they say they will. I figured mid-May isn’t so bad (is it just me or is time both going slowly and quickly?) and I have indeed preordered this set!

6/ Honeydew Sun Lover Lounge Set ($54)

This is the set that sparked my idea for this post! I legitimately needed some new loungewear—one of the sets I’d been wearing had actual holes in it and was so worn down that Andy joked it was practically see-through. 🙈 I was stalking some cute sets but struggled to find any in stock, so I figured others must also be having this issue!

I snagged this thunderbolt duo (which is super snuggly and a steal for the price) from Bloomies but it has sold out there since I purchased it. It was sold out across the board, but Shopbop JUST restocked, right on time for this blog post. :)

That’s it for my favorite under-$150 loungewear sets that you can actually make yours (for now). Would love to hear what you’re wearing these days—are you the type to actually get dressed and wear “normal” clothes, or are you living in loungewear like I am?

Thanks for stopping by!
